Convertible Picnic Table / Bench

Pros:  

• One handed conversion from bench to table and back to bench again.
• Enables easy rearranging of the patio furniture – have dinner at the table, then change to benches for post-dinner conversation.  Or, have one table for a serving line and others for eating or sitting.

• Not difficult to assemble, instructions are clear enough.  It does take a little time.
• Not too heavy – one person can rearrange the patio furniture.

 

Cons:

• Not available in larger sizes; would be nice in a 6, 7 or 8 foot length
• The metal frame sticks up just a little above the planks, creating a mildly uncomfortable lip along seat and table top.  However, I’ve not found this bothersome enough to not recommend – it’s still a great product.
• Took longer to assemble than I’d hoped – it would be nice if a some pieces can pre-assembled.
