Spax Screws

For years now my favorite screws have been from Spax. If you are not familar with these, they have lots of great features. My favorites are:

1. No-pre drilling needed. They have cool technology at the tips to drill into wood without splitting it out.
2. The star head screws stay in my drill bit amazingly securely and don’t fall out until nearly straight up and down. This means, I can operate the drill with a single hand – put screw on, pick up drill and screw in. Great so I can hold another board in place or if you are one handed! (Capt’n Hook – take it away!)
3. The heads of my favorite screws countersink super easily leaving a flush finish.
